Update data.json → variableCosts with real prices as you find them. Haircuts, dining out, laundromats, car washes — the stuff that adds up.

Add your everyday items to data.json → groceryList. Each item needs a name, quantity, and estimated NC price. The page will calculate weekly and monthly totals automatically.

Compare prices at: Aldi (cheapest), Food Lion (mid), Harris Teeter (Kroger-owned), Walmart (baseline). Use Instacart or store apps to check NC prices from here.
